Bangan ka raita

Ingredients

Bringle (bangan) 2 big size

Yogurt 1/2 kg

Salt To taste

Onion seeds 1 tsp

Mint Few leaves

Oil 4 Tbsp

Curry leaves 5-6

Cumin 1/2 tsp

Whole red pepper 5-6

Rep pepper powder 1/2 tsp

Green pepper 2 -3

How to Make?

Cut bringle in thin rounds.

Take a frying pan put some oil in it and fry bringle slices in it and keep them aside.

Take a bowl put yogurt , salt and red pepper in it and visp it with visper.

The add green peppers and fried bringle in it and mix them

Take a frying pan heat some oil in it put whole red pepper, curry leaves cumin, Onion seeds in it and put it on the top.

Garnish it with mint leaves and serve them with rice or dal and roti.

Aloo Paratha

Aloo Paratha

Ingredients

Flour (chapati atta) 200 gms

Cumin (zeera) 1 tsp

Chili powder 2 tsp

Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp

Yogurt (dahi) 3 – 4 tbsp

Cooking oil As required

Potato, medium sized 2 – 3 , boiled , mashed

Salt To taste

Coriander, mint 2 Tbsp of each , fine chopped

Green pepper 2 small, fine chopped

How to Make?

Boil 2 – 3 medium sized potato, remove skin and mash it.

In one bowl take 200 gms flour.

Add cumin, chili powder, turmeric powder and salt mix it well.

Add mashed potato,coriander, mint, green chillies and mix it with 3 – 4 tbsp yogurt, 2 tbsp cooking oil.

Add little water to make a soft dough. Keep a side for about 15 to 20 minutes.

Make frying pan (tava) hot on medium heat.

Take small ball from dough and roll it for a while. Then just apply a little oil by four fingers and fold it into half.

Again apply little oil and fold it. It will get triangular shape.

Roll it in triangular way.

Place it on hot tava. When it gets little brown, apply oil or ghee. Turn it and again apply oil or ghee on other side.

Keep turning simultaneously until it gets golden brown.
