TURNIP SPECIAL
INGREDIENTS:
TURNIPS 6
CHICKEN STOCK 1 1/2 TBSP
YOGURT 250 GRAMS
GREEN CHILLIES (CHOPPER) 3
CORIANDER LEAVES (CHOPPED) 1 BUNCH
DILL (CHOPPED) 1 BUNCH
MUSTARD SEEDS 1/2 TSP
RED CHILLI POWDER 1TBSP
TURMERIC POWDER 1/4 TBSP
GARLIC (CHOPPED) 1 TSP
METHOD:
* BOIL TURNIPS AND MASH THEM.
* MIX 2 TBSP YOGURT IN 1/4 CUP WATER.
* PUT TURNIPS, YOGURT WATER, TURMERIC POWDER, GARLIC, RED CHILLI POWDER, MUSTARD SEEDS AND CHICKEN STOCK IN A POT. COOK TILL ALL THE WATER DRIES.
* ADD CORIANDER LEAVES, GREEN CHILLIES AND DILL ONCE THE WATER HAS DRIED UP, AND TURN OFF THE FLAME.
* TAKE IT OUT IN A DISH.
* MAKE 'RAITA' FROM THE REMAINING YOGURT AND SERVE WITH TURNIP SPECIAL.
